On the 19th of December, the Selangor Information Technology and E-Commerce Council (SITEC) upheld its traditions with its annual Star Wars Movie Night, inviting its partners, merchants, and startups to a screening of The Last Jedi, the latest installment of the ongoing Star Wars saga, in a show of appreciation for the support it has received from its partners and friends. The event saw 220 people attending the screening of the movie.
The screening was also graced by YB Dato Teng Chang Khim, Senior Executive Councilor and Chairman of the Standing Committee of Investment, Industry and Trade, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and Transport, as well as YBhg Dato Hasan Azhari Haji Idris, Chief Executive Officer of Invest Selangor Bhd.
“It is the end of the year, and we at SITEC would like to take this time to show our appreciation for all of the support that you have given us over the year. From what I have heard, the next Star Wars movie is already being filmed, so SITEC will be organising another screening event next year as well, in keeping with our tradition of an annual Star Wars Night,” said SITEC Chief Executive Yong Kai Ping, during his address before the screening of the movie.
