The Top 10 winners of 2024 embarked on an International Innovation Trip to Shanghai from 1–7 December, visiting leading firms including TikTok Shop HQ, Baozun Inc., ChatPlus AI, MATRADE, and Plug and Play Shanghai.
The Selangor Retail Tech Xccelerator (RETAIL-X) is a 12 weeks accelerator programme designed to empower 30 promising Malaysian SMEs through strategic mentorship, workshops, pitching clinics, and exposure. RETAIL-X prepares participants to scale, digitalise, and optimise operations using retail technologies.
Top 10 companies will be crowned winners and stand a chance to win from a cash prize pool of RM50,000, announced during the Final Demo Day.
This programme is part of a strategic initiative by the Selangor State Government and organised by Sidec to future-proof local retail SMEs and support the growth of purpose-driven and socially impactful brands.
Applications open from 2 March to 1 May 2026, and will close at 6.00 PM on 1 May 2026. Early submission is encouraged!

Shortlisted companies will be required to commit RM6,480 (inclusive of 8% SST) as a participation fee. There is no payment required during the application stage. However, shortlisted companies must be able to commit to the full programme duration.
Applicants must also submit:
1. A copy of your latest company profile (maximum 20 pages)
2. A 60-second video on why you want to be part of RETAIL-X
There are no fees for registration.
However, shortlisted companies must commit a one-time participation fee of RM6,480 (inclusive of 8% SST) to access all programme perks.

7. Sell products to end users (B2C)
8. Able to commit throughout the 4-month programme
