Dr. Charlie Hong-Men Su is President and CTO of Andes Technology Corporation. He obtained his Ph.D in Computer Science from th e University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, M.S. in Computer Science from National Tsing-Hua University, and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University. Previously with Andes, he was the first employee and in charge of product development and technical marketing. At Silicon Valley, he spent over 12 years with various technical and management positions at Sun Microsystems, Afara Websystems, C-Cube Microsystems, SGI/MIPS, and Integraph.

Prof. Dr. Yuan-Chen (Jack) Sun is Senior Vice President at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, where he oversees strategic initiatives in research, innovation and academic development. He is widely recognised for his contributions to advancing interdisciplinary collaboration and fostering excellence in higher education and scientific research.

President of ASEAN; VP of North America Sales, Arm

CK Tseng serves as the President of ASEAN and VP of North America Sales at Arm. He has over 20 years of experience in the high-tech industry and first joined Arm in 2010. He later held a Vice President role at M2COMM, where he drove tenfold revenue growth within two years through IoT innovations. CK returned to Arm in 2017 and has since advanced through various leadership positions. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering.

Jim Keller
Chief Executive Officer of Tenstorrent
Jim Keller is CEO of Tenstorrent and a veteran hardware engineer. Prior to joining Tenstorrent, he served two years as Senior Vice President of Intel’s Silicon Engineering Group. He has held roles as Tesla’s Vice President of Autopilot and Low Voltage Hardware, Corporate Vice President and Chief Cores Architect at AMD, and Vice President of Engineering and Chief Architect at P.A. Semi, which was acquired by Apple Inc. Jim has led multiple successful silicon designs over the decades, from the DEC Alpha processors, to AMD K7/K8/K12, HyperTransport and the AMD Zen family, the Apple A4/A5 processors, and Tesla’s self-driving car chip.
YH Simon Hsu
Chief Operating Officer, National Applied Research Laboratories (NARLabs)

YH Simon Hsu is the Chief Operating Officer of the National Applied Research Laboratories (NARLabs), established in 2003. It is Taiwan’s leading national research institution under the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) whose mission is to support academia and industry through advanced R&D service platforms that drive innovation and strengthen national competitiveness. It comprises seven major centres, including the National Center for High-Performance Computing (NCHC), Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute (TSRI), Taiwan Instrument Research Institute (TIRI), and others. NARLabs provides access to world-class facilities such as supercomputers, earthquake simulators, and advanced biomedical platforms. In 2023, NARLabs celebrated its 20th anniversary, highlighting breakthroughs in semiconductors, AI, precision health, and net-zero technology. Notably, NCHC is building a 16-petaflop GPU supercomputer for generative AI, while TSRI advances 1-nanometer process and chip design capabilities. Internationally, NARLabs collaborates with partners in nearly 30 countries. Moving forward, it will continue serving as a vital bridge between academia and industry, powering Taiwan’s innovation-driven future.

Dr. Robert Li

Vice President of Sales (Taiwan/Southeast Asia) and Chairman, Synopsys Taiwan
Dr. Robert Li is Vice President of Sales (Taiwan/Southeast Asia) and Chairman of Synopsys Taiwan, where he leads the company’s business growth and strategic initiatives across Taiwan and Southeast Asia. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, an EMBA from National Taiwan University and a bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering from National Chiao Tung University.
He was named an Outstanding Alumnus by National Chiao Tung University in 2019 and received the prestigious 40th National Manager Excellence Award in 2022. Since joining Synopsys in 1999, Dr. Li has gained more than 25 years of experience in operations and management within the semiconductor design software industry. He also founded E-Trade Info, a network services company, and previously held a research position at Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI).

Leong Chek San leads Intel Foundry’s IP Ecosystem Alliance, fostering collaboration and innovation across the semiconductor ecosystem. He has a strong record in alliances and partnerships, IP licensing and start-up entrepreneurship. He plays a key role in shaping strategic partnerships and supporting the development of next-generation technologies.
Matthew Tan Hooi Sin
Vice President, Sales and Business Development, SilTerra Malaysia
Matthew is a Vice President at SilTerra, responsible for Sales and Business Development as well as Quality Assurance. He has 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry across Singapore, the United States, China and Malaysia.
Matthew has a strong interest in semiconductor fabrication technology and device architecture, and enjoys exploring new technologies, products and applications with customers. He returned to Malaysia under the Return Expert Programme in 2013. Matthew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Kalai Selvan Subramaniam
Chief Executive Officer, Infinecs Systems Sdn Bhd
Kalai is the CEO and co-founder of Infinecs Systems with more than 35 years in electronics and semiconductors. He built high-performing teams at Motorola, Intel and start-ups including My-MS. A Senior Member of IEEE, he helped pioneer Malaysia’s IC design capabilities and supports national industry forums.
He serves on the Industry Advisory Boards of UTP, UniMAP, MMU, UTM and INTI, and has been an Adjunct Professor of Engineering and Business Studies at UTP, UTM and UniMAP. At Infinecs, he drives IC and SoC solutions for data centres, cloud, AI and advanced semiconductor technologies, including power management ICs and silicon photonics.

Chun Chiat oversees operations at Oppstar Berhad, founded in 2014 by three IC design experts. With a vision to become a leading global semiconductor brand in R&D, he ensures efficiency, quality and growth across all divisions. Chief Executive Officer, SkyeChip Malaysia
Dato’ SK Fong leads SkyeChip Malaysia, a design company focused on delivering cutting-edge IP and IC solutions for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing.
Founded in 2019 by a team of world-class IC designers with more than 15 years’ average experience in multinationals including Intel, Altera, Broadcom, Spansion and Motorola, SkyeChip has end-to-end expertise in advanced IP and ASIC development, including architecture, logic and circuit design, DFT, physical design, layout, test and product engineering. He drives corporate strategy, product innovation and market expansion, strengthening the company’s position in the global semiconductor ecosystem.
Ong Chin Hu
Chief Executive Officer, Tenasic Malaysia
Chin Hu is the CEO of Tenasic Technology. He holds an MBA from Nottingham Trent University and a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Previously, he served as VP of SoC Engineering at StarFive, delivering the JH7110 RISC-V SoC that powered the world’s first RISC-V laptop, and leading development of the industry’s first RISC-V BMC SoC for data centres.
As Design Director at Marvell from 2006 to 2017, he brought more than 10 ARM-based SoCs to high-volume production. At Intel PSG from 2017 to 2021, he led IP teams for Agilex and Stratix platforms, developing HBM2 and DDR4 controllers and 1–100 GbE IP for FPGAs.
CS Tan
Vice President, MSIA
CS Tan graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1991 with First Class Honours in Applied Physics and received the Faculty Gold Medal. He also holds an MBA from USM and began his career at National Semiconductor in Penang. Over 35 years he has worked across semiconductors, hard disk storage and electronics manufacturing services.
For the past 20 years he served as General Manager of large MNC factories including Flextronics, ON Semiconductor and STMicroelectronics Muar, where he served until August 2025. He actively promotes Industry 4.0 and AI in manufacturing, lean practices and responsible business ethics aligned with the Responsible Business Alliance.
Chew Ne Weng
Group Managing Director and President, QES Group
Mr Chew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore. He began his career in 1987 at Cairnhill Precision in Singapore. In 1991 he founded QES Group and in 2001 expanded into semiconductor equipment manufacturing. He has since served as QES Group’s Managing Director and President.
With more than 35 years in the engineering industry, he is a notable and well-regarded figure. QES Group’s expertise includes optical-based stereo, macro and micro inspection as well as fully automatic 2D and 3D vision systems.
Tia Swee Hua
Global Senior Group Manager, R&D, X-FAB Sarawak
Tia Swee Hua is a Global Senior Group Manager at X-FAB Sarawak. X-FAB was established in Erfurt, Germany, in 1992. In 1998, 1st Silicon opened in Kuching as Sarawak’s first semiconductor manufacturing facility.
In 2006, X-FAB merged with 1st Silicon and became X-FAB Sarawak Sdn Bhd. Based in Kuching, the company manufactures wafers on modular CMOS technologies in geometries from 350 nm to 180 nm for automotive, industrial and medical applications.
Andrew Chan
Executive Director, Malaysia Semiconductor Industry Association (MSIA)
Andrew Chan Yik Hong is the Executive Director of MSIA, the voice of Malaysia’s semiconductor and electronics industry. He leads MSIA’s strategy, policy advocacy, industry development and international engagement. MSIA represents more than 300 member companies from 20 countries across the full semiconductor value chain.
He chairs the National Standards Committee Working Group on Semiconductors and serves on national platforms including the National Strategic Semiconductor Task Force, the National Standards Committee for Electrical and Electronics, PEMUDAH and the Polytechnic Industry Advisory Council. He is also involved with the Ministry of Higher Education and TalentCorp’s MyMahir Future Skills Talent Council for the semiconductor sector. A Fellow Chartered Accountant of ICAEW, Andrew previously held roles at PwC Consulting, IBM and Gamuda.

Teh J-Wing

Director of Silicon Design Engineering, AMD

Teh J-Wing is an engineering leader with extensive experience in silicon and systems design. He is the Director of Silicon and Systems Design Engineering at AMD. Previous roles include Director of Engineering at Intel, focusing on IP development, tools and methodology, and Senior Manager for inter-chip high-speed serial connectivity. He also held managerial roles at Altera, specialising in design infrastructure and video IP development.

FuriosaAI became the first Korean start-up to achieve MLPerf benchmark approval, highlighting its global competitiveness in AI chip performance.
The company has secured significant funding from leading investors, including Samsung, to support its mission of developing scalable AI hardware solutions for data centres and next-generation technologies. Paik’s entrepreneurial achievements have positioned FuriosaAI as a key player in the international AI hardware landscape, driving innovation across multiple industries.

Ts. Tan Aik Keong is the founder and CEO of Agmo Group, a home-grown AI and digital solutions provider listed on Bursa Malaysia. A Certified Professional Technologist with more than 15 years in software engineering, he serves as an Independent Council Member on the National Digital Economy and 4IR Council, is a founding member of Konsortium AI Negara and sits on TalentCorp’s Future Skills Talent Council.
Under his leadership, Agmo employs more than 250 local IT professionals and delivers solutions including generative AI, large language models, AI infrastructure as a service, digital avatars and an AI academy through partnerships with NVIDIA, AWS, Microsoft and Alibaba Cloud.
Dato’ Syed Haizam Jamalullail
Managing Director, The Hive Southeast Asia
Dato’ Syed Haizam is the Managing Partner of The Hive Southeast Asia, a co-creation and seed venture capital fund under the Ministry of Finance’s Dana Penjana Nasional programme, and Managing Partner of Tuas Capital Partners. He holds a Master of Arts in Human Sciences from Somerville College, University of Oxford, where his dissertation examined the socio-economic impacts of the 1997 Southeast Asian financial crisis.
He is a member of the Royal Court of Selangor with the title Engku Panglima Setia Diraja. He chairs the Board of Governors of Charterhouse Malaysia, and previously worked as a Governance and Sustainable Investment Analyst at F&C Investments in London. The Hive Southeast Asia is part of the Hive Global Group of Funds alongside The Hive in Palo Alto, Hive Brazil and Hive India.
Ts. Zehan Teoh

Dr. Yeong Che Fai

Zach Azizul Othman
Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Lekir Tech
Zach Azizul Othman is the co-founder and CEO of Lekir Tech, a leader in Malaysia’s AI and fintech landscape. He has supported more than 2,000 SMEs, national AI initiatives and large-scale digital projects.
Recognised as an AI subject matter expert by MRANTI and GMI, and a founding member of Ai-Vengers, he has contributed to projects including RazerPay and MOLPay, Project ePerolehan, FWCMS Payment Gateway, BR1M 2.0 and SME GenAI with NVIDIA and MRANTI. He serves on KAIN and the NAIO AI Advisory Working Group. At Lekir Tech he leads Assistnify AI Agent, a closed-loop solution designed to reduce AI hallucinations and enable workflow automation, ML-driven decision-making and AI collaboration.
Nathan Alexander
Associate, AppWorks
Nathan joined AppWorks in 2024 as an Associate in the Southeast Asia arm, focused on meeting and supporting founders in the region. He has more than seven years’ experience in start-up advisory, investments and M&A.
He began his career at PwC Indonesia before moving to venture capital as a Senior Analyst at Alpha JWC, and later served as Head of Investments at Telkomsel Ventures. Nathan holds a degree in Finance from Prasetiya Mulya University. Outside work, he enjoys football and building meaningful connections with friends.
Kennedy Wai
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, HelloWorld Robotics
Kennedy Wai is the founder and CEO of HelloWorld Robotics. He founded the company in China in 2018, developed the first delivery robot prototype, then returned to Malaysia to pilot the solution and establish the operations HQ in Cyberjaya. A full-stack robotics engineer, he has more than seven years’ experience building autonomous robots in Taipei and Shanghai.
He studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan. His achievements include winning the Siasun Robot Creatineer International Start-up Competition in 2017, third place in the China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, and first place in the China Zhuhai JingNiuHui start-up competition in 2018.

Foong Chee Mun

CEO, YTL AI Labs and Chief Product Officer, YTL-SEA Digital Bank

Foong Chee Mun has more than 25 years in AI and technology. As a founding member of Simulex Inc. he worked on behaviour prediction for the US Department of Defense and Fortune 500 companies. He later co-founded MoneyLion and served as CTO, applying AI to support middle-class Americans. MoneyLion was subsequently listed on the NYSE.

He established a technology and AI centre in Kuala Lumpur, leading more than 300 professionals and helping position Malaysia as an innovation hub. Recognised as one of the top 25 CTOs in fintech in 2019 and 2020, he now serves as CEO of YTL AI Labs and Chief Product Officer of the YTL-SEA Digital Bank project, advancing Malaysia’s consumer and technology sectors through AI and fintech.
Thomas Mathew
CEO, Talent Corp
Thomas brings with him more than 30 years of experience in corporate management, business strategy, and risk management. He began his career as a banker, holding management positions in the corporate and commercial banking divisions of several local commercial banks, from where he joined Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad, Danaharta Malaysia’s asset management company in 1998. He was initially involved in loan restructuring and thereafter headed its risk management unit, prior to its successful closure in 2005. Thomas then joined the MBf Holdings group of companies, initially as its Chief Operating Officer and thereafter as its President. He then assumed the role of Group Finance Director at Ben Holdings group in Sri Lanka, an established retail, media and theatre group, where he oversaw all aspects of Finance, Treasury, Legal, Human Resources, Risk Management, Audit, and IT. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Dr Uzair Javaid

Co-founder & CEO, Betterdata

Dr. Uzair Javaid is the CEO and Co-Founder of Betterdata AI, a company focused on Programmable Synthetic Data generation using Generative AI and Privacy Engineering. Betterdata’s technology helps data science and engineering teams easily access and share sensitive customer/business data while complying with global data protection and AI regulations.

He is an advisor at German Entrepreneurship Asia and has a strong academic background in Computer Science/Engineering with a Ph.D. from National University of Singapore (Top 10 in the world). His research focused on designing and analyzing blockchain-based cybersecurity solutions for cyber-physical systems with specialisation in data security and privacy engineering techniques.

Shahril Ibrahim
Partner of 500 Global

Shahril Ibrahim is a Partner at 500 Global, a venture capital firm investing in fast-growing technology companies. With background in Systems Engineering and Computer Science, he held positions as Former Managing Partner and Advisor at the Hive Southeast Asia, Board Member at General Fusion, and Director and Head of Americas at KHAZANAH AMERICAS INCORPORATED. He founded companies like Wokitalk and served as Senior Advisor at Rhythm & Hues.

Kai Yong Kang
Partner of GenAI Fund

Kai Yong is the Co-founder and Partner at GenAI Fund, Southeast Asia’s first AI-focused venture fund dedicated to accelerating AI adoption across enterprises and governments. Before launching GenAI Fund, Kai built multiple startups in the media and education sectors. He later joined Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he led the startup business for Southeast Asia and Pakistan, supporting over 15,000 startups and 1,000 ecosystem partners to scale, raise funding, and expand globally. Chan Yip Pang joined Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India in 2022 and primarily focuses on opportunities in Singapore and Malaysia. Dr. Robert Li is Vice President of Sales (Taiwan/Southeast Asia) and Chairman of Synopsys Taiwan, where he leads the company’s business growth and strategic initiatives across Taiwan and Southeast Asia. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, an EMBA from National Taiwan University and a bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering from National Chiao Tung University.

He was named an Outstanding Alumnus by National Chiao Tung University in 2019 and received the prestigious 40th National Manager Excellence Award in 2022. Since joining Synopsys in 1999, Dr. Li has gained more than 25 years of experience in operations and management within the semiconductor design software industry. He also founded E-Trade Info, a network services company, and previously held a research position at Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI).
